“A hidden gem outside Chengdu! I was blown away by how diverse this day trip was. One moment I was learning about ancient Chinese poets in a peaceful garden, and the next I was tasting spicy pickles in a quirky museum! The bamboo weaving workshop was a personal highlight — the artisan was so patient, and I actually brought my little basket home. Highly recommend if you want something authentic and off the beaten path."

“Good mix of culture and local life. We enjoyed the day, especially the temple and city wall. The Pickle Museum was unexpected — funny and educational at the same time. Our guide spoke good English and explained everything clearly. Lunch at the market was simple but tasty. The weaving part felt a bit rushed, but overall a very unique experience near Chengdu."

“I joined this tour not knowing what to expect — I just wanted to get out of Chengdu for a bit. But wow, Meishan surprised me! The pickle tasting was weirdly addictive, and the temple area gave me some great photo ops. Would recommend it to anyone who wants something different from the typical panda tour.”
