Leiqiong Global Geopark: Only a 30-minute drive from downtown Haikou, this geopark sits on the edge of an ancient volcanic field. Walk along lava trails, see basalt rock formations, and learn about Hainan’s fiery geological origins. The lush landscape contrasts beautifully with the volcanic terrain—an ideal start for nature lovers.
